39th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 will be played between Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) and Gujarat Lions (GL) on 1st May at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Dew will be a factor and team winning toss is likely to chase.

After not a good start in the tournament, Rising Pune Supergiant had become a strong contender for play-offs. They are currently at the fourth spot in the points table with 10 points in nine matches.
Coming with a win against Royal Challengers Bangalore in this match would like to continue the momentum. RPS is likely to make any changes in its playing XI.
