Rising Pune Supergiant had two consecutive wins after three loses in a row. Dhoni is back in the form and he finishing the match in his style is a sign of relief in RPS camp. Ben Stokes is not able to convert his starts into big score and has neither done anything with the ball. While Washington Sundar opening his match against DD has shown some good signs and is likely to be in the playing XI. While Daniel Christian also bowled well but he may have to go if Faf du Plessis is to be brought in.

Head to Head: MI vs RPS

They have met thrice in IPL, out of which RPS has managed 2 wins and MI could only manage 1. Though MI faced the only defeat in IPL 2017 against RPS in their first match, but they are long ahead of that and MI is likely to be dominant over RPS.
