1) Delhi Daredevils

Delhi Daredevils is the franchise cricket team representing Delhi in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the only owner of the Delhi Daredevils is the GMR Group. GMR Group is an infrastructural company founded by Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao in 1978.

2) Gujarat Lions

Gujarat Lions is the temporary franchise cricket team representing Rajkot, Gujarat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the year 2016 and 2017. And the only owner of the Gujarat Lions is the Keshav Bansal, the director of the Intex Technologies.

3) Kings XI Punjab 

Kings XI Punjab is the franchise cricket team representing Mohali, Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the owners of the Kings XI Punjab are Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman and Karan Paul. Preity Zinta is the leading Bollywood actress. Ness Wadia represents the Wadia Group which is one of the oldest conglomerate founded by Lovji Nusserwanjee Wadia in 1736. And whereas Mohit Burman and Kamal Paul represent the Dabur Group, which is the largest Ayurvedic product manufacture company founded by SK Burman in 1884.

4) Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders is the franchise cricket team representing Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the owners of the Kolkata Knight Riders are Shahrukh Khan, Jay Mehta and his wife Juhi Chawla. Shahrukh Khan the leading Bollywood actor represent motion picture company Red Chillies Entertainment , founded by him and his wife Gauri Khan in 2002. Jay Mehta and her wife Juhi Chawla, the leading Bollywood actress represent the Mehta Group.

5) Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians is the franchise cricket team representing Mumbai, the financial capital of India in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the only owner of the Mumbai Indians is Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Industries, which is a Indian conglomerate company founded by Dhirubhai Ambani in 1966. Mumbai Indians is mainly managed by Mukesh Ambani's wife Nita Ambani and his elder son Akash Ambani

6) Rising Pune Supergiants

Rising Pune Supergiants is the temporary franchise cricket team representing Pune, Maharastra, in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the year 2016 and 2017. Rising Pune Supergiants is the second team to represent Pune in Indian premier League (IPL), first team was Pune Warriors which had now became de-funct. And the only owner of the Rising Pune Supergiants is the Sanjiv Goenka the chairman of chairman RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, which is an Indian conglomerate company founded by R P Goenka in 1979.

7) Royal Challengers Bangalore

Royal Challengers Bangalore is the franchise cricket team representing Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the owner of the Royal Challengers Bangalore are United Spirits Limited and Diageo United Spirits Limited is an Indian alcoholic beverages company and Diageo is and British Multinational alcoholic beverages Company.

8) Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad is the franchise cricket team representing Hyderabad, Telangana, in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Sunrisers Hyderabad is the second team to represent Hyderabad in Indian premier League (IPL), first team was Deccan Chargers which was terminated by the IPL. The owner of the Sunrisers Hyderabad is Kalanithi Maran of the Sun TV channel Network which was founded by him in 1993.

9) Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings is the franchise cricket team representing Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chennai Super Kings was suspended for two years (2016 and 2017). Chennai Super Kings was owned by N Srinivasan who is the chairman of the India Cements under the name Chennai Super Kings Cricket Ltd from 2008 to 2017. But in 2017 it has changed its ownership and is now owned by the shareholders of India Cements a trust named Chennai Super Kings Sports Company Limited.

10) Royals

Royals is the franchise cricket team representing Pune, Maharashtra, in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Earlier the team was named as Rajashtan Royals from 2008-2017. Rajasthan Royals was suspended for two years (2016 and 2017) and has changed its name to Royals before returning to the IPL 2018. Earlier its base was Jaipur, Rajasthan, when it was calledas Rajashtna Royals. Royals is owned by a group under the name Jaipur IPL Cricket Private Ltd, which is currently owned and headed by Manoj Badale. Other investors to the group are  Aditya S Chellaram, Lachlan Murdoch, Ryan Tkalcevic and Suresh Chellaram.

11) Kochi Tuskers Kerala

Kochi Tuskers Kerala is the franchise cricket team representing Kochi, Kerala in the Indian Premier League (IPL).Kochi Tuskers Kerala franchise was terminated by BCCI. Kochi Tuskers Kerala is owned by Lulu Group International under the name Kochi Cricket Pvt Ltd

12) Pune Warriors Inida

Pune Warriors Inida is the franchise cricket team representing Pune in the Indian Premier League (IPL).Pune Warriors Inida franchise was terminated by BCCI. Pune Warriors Inida is owned by Sahara Adventure Sports Limited a subsidiary of Sahara India Pariwar.

13) Deccan Chargers

Deccan Chargers is the franchise cricket team representing Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL).Deccan Chargers franchise was terminated by BCCI. Deccan Chargers is owned by Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd.
